Last year I went to Coombe Abbey to film the Woman Who awards. I had not been before so was unsure about what to expect. Arriving early, I was taken aback at how beautiful the marquee was.
Guests soon started arriving: sponsors, finalists, supporters and business people. It was clear to see that everyone was happy and some, just a little nervous.
Any nerves were soon settled by Dave Sharpe and Louise Stewart. They are personable, friendly and put everyone at ease. Fantastic hosts.
What followed were inspiring keynote speeches by Holly Matthews, Actress and Founder of The Happy Me Project @HollyMatthews, Emma Heathcote-James, Founder and MD of Little Soap Company and Woman Who…Achieves Awards Judge @emma_h_j and Fleur Sexton DL, MD Pet-Xi Training and Business Woman of the Year 2017/18 @FleurSexton
It’s easy to see a person’s success and forget just how much passion and perseverance goes in to making dreams a reality. These women overcame adversity and are an inspiration to us all.
A delicious lunch, followed by brilliant entertainment, set the tone for the rest of the awards.
Could you be a winner in 2019? Or would you like to nominate someone for an award? Entries close on 22 February. Read more here: https://womanwho.co.uk/enter-now/
